Counselling
"I aim to provide a safe private space in which you may address those aspects of your life which are causing you anxiety, distress or feelings of sadness."
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Following a career teaching and training, I began counselling training in 2006. I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). Working in an integrative way means that I can approach my work with you whilst drawing on a number of therapeutic approaches, so you can receive counselling that is tailored to your needs. I work with a range of emotional difficulties and I am able to offer counselling to individuals of all ages.
I have been working in a GP surgery for a counselling charity since 2014, as well as in my own private practice which takes place in a fully confidential setting. Whilst I am working, I am in clinical supervision to the BACP requirements at all times, in order to effectively sustain and monitor my working practice as a counsellor.

I am a fully qualified counselling Supervisor. I am also a Level 4 CPCAB Tutor at Westmeria Counselling College where I teach adults training to become counsellors.
